This Market was built in British colonial times and has a colonial shape. “Chaukhtetgyi Pagoda” it is the fourth largest colossal reclining image in Myanmar and 67 m long. In the evening, visit the most magnificent and spectacular religious edifice, Shwedagon Pagoda before the sun set and enjoy the beauty stupa while it changes the shining of gold in different tones according to the radiant of the setting sun. Yangon – Pyay (coach)
After breakfast drive to Pyay, sightseeing in Pyay includes the Payagyi and Payama styled in influential Indian arts, the Srikshetra, an old capital of Pyu Kingdom, flourished in 5th to 7th Century. Pyay – Bagan (coach)

After breakfast, tour starts with the busy local market and continuing with visits to a diverse selection of the most important Pagodas and temples, such as Shwezigon pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in early 11th century, Gu Byauk Kyi – a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes, and Ananda Temple with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures in inches around the galleried interior. Then visit to Manuha Temple, built in Mon Style in 1095, Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument, said to have been the palace of King Manuha and Myingaba Gu Byauk kyi Temple, noted for its ancient mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO. Bagan – Mt.Popa – Mandalay (coach)
After breakfast, drive to Mandalay, on the way trip to Mt. Popa will take but worthwhile by the enjoying the scenic beauty and the life of people will make you to believe you are in Myanmar. A crag name Popa Hill lock believed to be an abode of 37 Nats (spiritual beings) regarded as the gods for animism before the Bagan dynasty (11th to 13th century). After climbing 777 steps to the top you can enjoy the scenic beauty around including the volcano Mt. Popa with about 1500 meters high. Then proceed to Mandalay. On arrival, check into your hotel. Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay (coach/boat)
After breakfast, drive to Mingun jetty. Take a short boat trip to Mingun. Visit Pahtodawgyi which is unfinished huge pagoda that was supposed to have 150 m heigh. Then proceed to Mingun Bell whichhas about 90 tons in weight and the world’s biggest bell among the ringing ones. Then visit to Myatheindan Pagoda – the most beautiful archaeological style. Back to Mandalay, then observe the daily life of the local people in the down town by visiting Zegyo market and river bank. Stay overnight in Mandalay.
After breakfast, excursion by road to the former Royal Capital of Innwa (Ava), take a small boat for a few minutes and visit Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery, ruins of ancient Ava Watch Tower, fort walls and brick causeway and Bargaya Teak wood Monastery. Then proceed to Sagaing by driving over 1 km long bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River to Sagaing Hills, with numerous Pagodas and monasteries and a retreat for Buddhist devotees. Then drive to Monywa, transfer to hotel. Stay overnight in Monywa.
Monywa – Mandalay (coach)
After breakfast, cross the Chindwin river by ferry boat and proceed by pickup of jeep to Pho Win Taung, a system of impressive sandstone caves containing Buddha statues, wood carvings and fine mural paintings mainly in Innwa-style, some dating back to 15th century. Dozens of large and small caves with about 450,000 images are hidden in the area of the Pho Win Hills. Then back to Monywa. And then drive to Thanboddhay Pagoda; 8465 small stupas are rising up to richly decorated central stupa, which is reminding a bit of Borobudur in Java. Then visit to Boditahtaung with the thousand Buddha images sitting at the foot of each tree and enjoy the view from Aung Setkaya Pagoda, standing 130 meter high on the Po Khaung hills. Then drive back to Mandalay. Stay overnight in Mandalay.
Mandalay – Pyin Oo Lwin
After breakfast, drive on a scenic route to the cool hill station of Pyin Oo Lwin (Maymyo ), with its beautiful lake and waterfalls, botanical garden and colonial buildings. Visit to Peik Chin Myaung Caves and proceed to Pwe Kauk Waterfalls, a favourite picnic spot for local people. Stay overnight in Pyin Oo Lwin.
Pyin Oo Lwin – Kalaw (By Coach)
Breakfast at your hotel. Drive to Kalaw, Wondering around the town. Stay overnight in Kalaw.
After breakfast, trekking to Palaung Hills in Kalaw surrounding area and visit the hill tribes villages in their colorful costumes. Then, drive to the small quiet town Pindaya enjoying the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Pindaya. Then go back to hotel and overnight stay in Kalaw before trekking. Kalaw – Pindaya (By Coach)
The journey continues on a narrow, winding and bumpy road through the Shan Hills. Inle (By Boat)
After breakfast, trip by boat on Inle Lake, to see the Intha-fishermen rowing with their legs, Pagoda on artificial islands in the lake, floating gardens and floating market (in market’s day only), then visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the main principle shrines in Myanmar and dating back to the 18th century; the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, famous for its jumping cats trained by monks and the weaving village of In-paw-khon. Stay overnight on the Inle Lake.
Inthein sightseeing and back to Yangon by flight (By boat/coach/flight)
After breakfast, enjoy a boat tour to Inthein at the western end of the Lake where you can watch the farmers cultivate their products. Visit the 16th century pagoda complex of Inthein. You could get experience the life style of lake dwellers their way of maneuvering with one leg rowing. The net they use to cast down for fishing in shallow water is also something interesting to attract the tourists. In the evening, transfer to airport and fly back to Yangon. Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon (By Coach)
After breakfast, back to Yangon via Bago. Bago sightseeing includes “Kanbawzathardi Palace” the famous palace of King Bayinnaung (1551-1581 A.D) is being extensively excavated and some buildings are being rebuilt. “Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda” was originally built by the Mon to a height to 23 meters in the 8th century and was rebuilt higher several times until it finally reached its present 114 meter stature in 1954, the highest pagoda in Myanmar. “Shwethalyaung Pagoda” Built in 994 AD by King Mingadippa, It is 55 meters long and 16 meters high, another biggest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar built during 9th century. “Kyeik Pun Pagoda” It was built by King Dhamma Zedi in 1476 A.D, four gigantic Buddha image all in sitting posture facing the four cardinal points of the compass. After sightseeing, back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight inYangon.
